SOLD IN 25 HOURS | RODERICK

Subject Removal Part 2

In order to finish removing our subjects for the new house, we had to sell our current place. We didn’t think we would have trouble selling it since it is in really great shape, only 5 years old, near transit, shopping, schools, highway…etc etc. Its a good little place just not right for us anymore. So our real estate agent, Janet Maxwell, created the listing for the MLS and posted it publicly around 5pm on Friday.

2 hours later…

Janet had 2 phone calls for showings…already!  One in particular was very adamant that they see the place on Saturday.  Originally we had planned to do a clean up on Saturday and take care of a few items on the ‘fix it’ list like a loose door knob but that wouldn’t take us all day so we agreed to a showing around 5pm.

23 hours later…

We finished our clean and fix up list and left the house for the showing.  While in the midst of a fantastic pizza dinner at our friends place at SFU we got the phone call that there was an offer on the place.  AN OFFER?!?!  Its only 6:30pm!?!

5 minutes later…

We raise our glasses and pizza to a cheers with our friends and parents to celebrate the selling of our townhouse for FULL ASKING PRICE!

To say the least the selling of our townhouse was pretty fast and smooth.  No negotiation, no back and forth…just list it, sell it, and move!

Next Step – Townhouse inspection (this should be the easy part).

A little gallery tribute to our quick selling townhouse…
