RODERICK RENO – IN PROGRESS
A true fixer upper, the Roderick Reno is the stuff some people’s renovation nightmares are made of…but not for Sitka. This 1940’s bungalow with a full basement was owned by some slightly neglectful and well intentioned DIYers who simply did not do this cute little place any justice. The Sitka Team is currently working on this project doing a full renovation from top to bottom, inside and out…on a budget of course!

The renovation will first address the issues that need to be removed…misguided DIY, old wiring, years of neglect and a lot of nicotine. Then the plan is to work from the ground up, roughing in all of the new plumbing, heating and electrical, then finishing the basement first before moving on to the main floor. The reason for this tactic is simple, we have to live here with some kind of sanity while this reno is going on.
