SHESHED – RUSTIC OUTBUILDING
When there is no space inside for a work space and storage zone then why not build a backyard structure. This SheShed was born out of necessity for a small business owner who had an ever growing stock of products to store and the need for a place to call her own work zone. Occupying a previously neglected dumping zone in the backyard, the SheShed is tucked away from the main family yard space and optimizes access to a back lane for loading. LED lighting and power run off a reclaimed commercial backup battery and small solar panel and vents in the upper side walls keep the shed cool in the summer months.
Down the road this rustic outbuilding will get a full interior including enclosed walls, insulation, paint and more lighting, exterior paint and a phase 2 outdoor open air bathroom, but for now, the SheShed is happily serving this business well.
